What's the best way to keep a TGP/MGP going?

I've heard strong trades, good bookmarks, buying choker traffic. What is the best way to make it semi decent sized?

Good galleries, daily updates. Don't screw your surfers.

Bookmarkers definitely help. They keep your site alive when your trade script dies and you don't notice all weekend LOL ;)

Experiment with what works and just don't give up.
