Maturity level on GFY

When I first come to the adult industry, GFY was the bomb. It was the defacto only place to post. Everyone posted on GFY. The serious threads were serious, and the silly posts were funny as hell. Now it's all fucking drama. It's like a bunch of high school freshman running around with their hair cut off like chickens. Way too many wannabes on that board.

And they wonder why they aren't making money.

Well because i have had an account on GFY 4 months after it's debut .. and still only have 200 posts total that should tell you something .. i guess i wish for the old YNOT days .. but to tell you the truth i would say that this board is decent and has the potential to be alot more .. good going voodoo and Grim

YNOT is still a great board but the industry was a lot different when they were the only board .. you could actually trust someone to go on your server and fix something if it was broke ... it was a different time ... no a days you cannot let anyone know the password to your account of GFY ..

I would have to agree things at GFY are NOT what the once were.

But on a positive note, there are more webmaster boards than ever. Each seems to have its own personality. Webmasters who know, Know what boards to use to get some business done. I don't think anyone has been hurt by the evolution of GFY into what it is today. it's kinda like when old friends grow apart, they change and find they don't have as much in common anymore.

As most can tell I am new to Pimpboard, and I registered because I liked the vibe here. Friendly, fun, and most times people stay on topic. But I still visit other boards depending on what I am looking for..so the whole GFY scene and the maturity level doesn't bother me , when I get sick of it I leave and go elsewhere and get work done.
