WTF! Why are people soo lazy!! - PIMPBOARD

I know this is a worthless post, but I'm going to vent....

Why is it people are soo lazy. In recent years as competition as realistically increased people still resort to the laziest tactics as a means to make money.

For years it's been all about starting a TGP with a cheap script or one that skims, load in a bunch of pre-thumbed galleries and let it go, instant millionaire.

Now, or actually for a while now, it's been setup Wordpress, load in some RSS feeds, a few cam iframes, some banners and, wow, instant millionaire.

And it continues now with tube scripts that you can load sponsors videos with the click of a mouse and, wow, instant millionaire.

So, obviously nobody makes a million, but they all bitch and moan and it comes down to one fatal flaw in their business plan, they forget to actually work. Being self-employed means more work, not less. I know there are the exceptions, but overall, that's the rule.

So people, get off your asses and put in some time!

I can beat that.

Late last night someone hit me up on ICQ - someone I had never heard of. He's like "Rochard, I own a great design company and if you need any design work done on the cheap let me know". I told him no like four different times but he wouldn't shut up. So finally I said "Well, we have our own design company" and showed him some links, and and again reminded him that I'm okay.

Then he told me to fuck off.

I'm like "Your so desperate for work that y our spamming me at ICQ at 11pm on Friday night, and YOUR gonna tell me to FUCK OFF?".

i agree, i think there are waaaay to many affiliates that expect site owners to do pretty much everything and year on year people expect soo much more and want to put in less effort to earn their dollars...just my 2 cents

Get rich quick schemes will always be around because they have a certain audience. I think that there may be some bad apples out there, but I'm pretty sure that by-and-large most people know that they have to put work in to get any sort of return.

No matter where you are or what you do, there will be people wanting to do it fast and easy.

Which isn't to say I don't want things to be fast and easy so I can make my millions, but yunno, if it's not I'll put some work in.

Good rant. Rants are the next big thing, so I'll write one too and then... instant millionaire!

The 'build it and they will come' isn't a good tactic but a lot of people don't realize this. Another thing about working for yourself is you're working for the future and the time invested doesn't always mean income. You have to learn new things, keep things in order, track stats, track money, do research, etc. Also I know people get side tracked and you have to focus on what's most important. I recommend reading some GTD books or entrepreneur books.

Anyway sounds like I'm repeating what has already been said, good stuff Avalanche.

I have to agree with you 100 percent on this , Avalanche. There are no instant millionaires in porn now without some work. Maybe back in 1999, but no more.
